Hacking IP Cameras

Presenter: Nicholas Starke

Description

Join us for a tour through IP Camera hacking.  We’ll look at three common cameras and discuss what vulnerabilities they have, how those vulnerabilities can be exploited, and what a malicious actor can do with access once established.  Most of the presentation will be live demos with real cameras. After that, we’ll take a look at how the knowledge we gained in the first section helps us to build a Metasploit module for easy exploitation during penetration tests.  Lastly, we’ll conclude with a discussion of overall IP Camera / IP internet of things security measures and countermeasures.
